Renters Insurance
Another flight school on our field has put up a banner advertising flights and fees etc, with the statement "No renters insurance required". Oh foolish ones, thou shalt soon discover the erors of thy ways! We recently had a renter who had a prop strike, into a self serve gas pump no less, 1500 miles away from base. This is an engine out and so on job. He had renters insurance - it is our policy. No renters insurance, no aircraft rental. Our owners sleep at night.
